There are some well-meaning believers and leaders in the body of Christ who deny the importance of deliverance by saying things like this: "Believers don't need deliverance, they simply need to renew their mind or know their identity in Christ."

While deliverance is meant to go together with other complementary truths and biblical realities, these other truths do not negate the need for deliverance.
